Welcome to Lorton Station Dental Care! We offer general and cosmetic dental procedures as well as orthodontic treatment and high quality comprehensive dental care to all ages. Our office opened in 2008 with the latest and most advanced dental equipment. We use only digital xray machines for your safety. Not only does it require less radiation, it saves time since no developing is required and they can be viewed in seconds! Our office is paperless, which helps protect your personal information and the environment. Our office is also amalgam free and latex free for those with allergies and concerns about mercury exposure. Each operatory is equipped with plush dental chairs with a massage feature! Relax and enjoy a back massage while having your treatment!

Meet our team
Doctors
Dao Nguyen, DDS
Dao Nguyen, DDS, was raised in Northern Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before attending dental school at Howard University. She then completed a residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia before returning to Virginia to practice dentistry. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She attends several continuing education courses each year to keep up with current dental technology to integrate into her practice. After completing over 500 hours of continuing education and passing an exam, she was awarded her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen's main goal is to provide all her patients with comprehensive dental care with a gentle touch.
Ann Marie Leal, DDS
Ann Marie, DDS, Leal is a native of Chicago and earned her undergraduate degree from Quincy University. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, graduating in 1993 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery and completed a General Practice Residency at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 1994. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Leal enjoys attending continuing education seminars that keep her informed of the current teachings and trends in the dental field. She has a treatment philosophy that encompasses the patient as a whole and considers both the patient's needs and wants. She treats her patients the way she would treat her own family members. Dr. Leal is married and has two sons. She enjoys volunteering, reading and traveling.

Masih
Masih is a registered Dental Hygienist. He graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2014 with a degree in dental hygiene. He joins our hygiene department with a primary goal of educating patients on their current oral health and giving recommendations on each individual’s needs. In his spare time, he likes to eat great food, watch the home sporting teams, and most importantly, relax with his family. He looks forward to building strong relationships with current patients, as well new editions to our dental family in the years to come.
Ashley
Ashley is a registered Dental Hygienist. Ashley’s main reason for becoming a hygienist is that she loves to help people. She loves that she can help patients keep their smiles bright everyday! Her aunt was a dental assistant for many years and encouraged her to pursue hygiene. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, working out, hiking, and visiting her family back home in Ohio.
Sendy
Sendy enjoys being a dental assistant because she gets to see different cases everyday. Each day, we help improve our patients' quality of life when they see their smiles restored. She likes knowing that patients who fear the dentist have the confidence and trust in us to put them at ease. There is always something new to learn with all the different patients, and she also get to learn different techniques working with both of our doctors. The variety of people and procedures seen each day lead to interesting and enjoyable experiences.
Dilia
Dilia is our Dental Assistant. She started working the the dental field in 2013 because she wanted to start a professional career. From the moment she started working as a dental assistant, she loved it. Dilia loves working at Lorton Station Dental Care because she is able to work with multiple dentists and patients of all ages. She is a certified dental assistant and currently working towards taking her National Board exam. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
Alma
Alma's passion for dentistry started with her first filling. She was so interested and intrigued by what the doctor was doing that she kept asking questions. At every dental appointment, she would ask questions to the hygienist, dental assistants, and doctors. She enrolled in a dental assisting program and began learning about dentistry first hand. Working in this field has only made her more interested in dentistry and she hopes to continue her education and soon become a dental hygienist. Being able to help patients understand why oral hygiene is so important and helping them improve theirs is very rewarding.
Administrative team
Sylvia
Sylvia entered the dental field in 2007 upon receiving her dental assisting certification from NOVA. She has always had a fascination with oral hygiene and even remembers asking her sister every night before bedtime "did you brush your teeth?”. So it wasn't surprising that her first clinical role was that of a hygiene assistant. Throughout the years it was apparent that Sylvia had a true knack for wanting to help patients and loved the daily interactions she experienced with each individual, which led to her advancing to the administrative aspect of the dental world. As Office Manager, Sylvia takes great pride in aiding patients understand and maximize their insurance benefits. It is always her goal to make patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and satisfied from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. Sylvia is currently enrolled at NOVA pursuing her degree in Business Management. When not at work or school, you can find her in the kitchen baking sweet treats and snuggling with her cat.
Francise
Francise is our Patient Coordinator and probably the first person you will speak with at our office. You will immediately see that her bubbly personality is infectious, and you can even hear her beautiful smile over the phone. Francise has been in the dental field since 2005 with experience in both front and back office and uses her experience to help answer all our patients’ dental questions. Francise does her best to schedule appointments at your earliest convenience. When not at the office, Francise loves listening to mystery novels, watching sci-fi movies and spending time with friends and family.
